As part of the redevelopment of Milan Central Station, the lighting helps redefine the spaces dedicated to passenger flow, improving perception, wayfinding, and visual comfort.

With Folio Opal 3C, large light panels (1500x3000 mm) are integrated along the escalator route, transforming functional surfaces into striking architectural elements. The uniform, diffused light naturally accompanies movement, eliminating contrasts and shadowed areas.
The large dimensions of the modules allow for the creation of continuous fields of light, capable of amplifying the perception of space and making the experience of passing through more fluid. The installation combines technical performance with visual effectiveness, contributing to a brighter, safer, and more contemporary environment.

In this project, Opal 3C interprets light as a tool for wayfinding and architectural enhancement in one of the most iconic locations of Milan’s urban mobility.
