In the world of McLaren, technology and design come together through a constant pursuit of precision and performance. In the Barcelona project, this design language is brought into the space through a lighting system that interacts with surfaces, transforming them into architectural elements.
On the ceiling, Folio Zero 80 Grid Ceiling creates a large, continuous luminous surface. The custom-made system uses a grid of LED modules and a tensioned diffuser fabric to distribute light evenly, covering large areas without visible seams.
On the wall, Folio Zero 55 Wall applies the same principle on a vertical scale. The slim structure and diffuser transform the surface into a uniform light source, integrated into the architecture and capable of visually defining the space.
The project thus establishes continuity between the horizontal and vertical planes: the ceiling and wall become two surfaces of the same luminous narrative, creating depth and defining the identity of the space.
