At the Louis Vuitton Store in Nanjing, lighting is integrated into the design through an interplay of shapes, surfaces, and proportions. The light complements the architecture with a precise language, alternating between large lighting elements and more targeted features dedicated to the displays.
Defining the most striking surfaces is Folio Opal 10L Waves Shaped, a custom solution designed to follow a wavy pattern. The ability to shape the panel allows the light to conform to the architecture’s geometry, transforming a light-emitting surface into a true compositional element. The opal diffusion provides continuous and uniform brightness, maintaining a soft, uninterrupted pattern.
In the displays, Folio Opal 3L, on the other hand, brings light to a more precise scale. At just 12 mm thick and with a fully luminous, uniform surface, the system integrates into the display elements, highlighting products and details through a subtle and controlled presence.
