Inside the Akabeko Restaurant in Dubai, the lighting helps to create an intimate and deeply material atmosphere, consistent with the concept inspired by the wabi-sabi philosophy.
The backlit backgrounds blend discreetly into the vertical elements, generating a soft and calibrated brightness. The uniform diffusion ensures visual comfort, while the customized visual component reinforces the perception of depth and stratification of the space.
The light does not invade, but accompanies: it emphasizes the materiality of the surfaces, enhances the essential geometries, and contributes to creating a cozy, sophisticated environment consistent with the gastronomic experience offered.
In the Akabeko project, Zero 55 – Folio Visual interprets lighting as a narrative and design element, capable of combining technical precision and aesthetic sensitivity in a measured and contemporary balance.
